I am very new to this tribe and very late in my announcing this thing.
Being as I am a proud founding member of the Belligerati Reading Group,
it is up to me to let you know that we are doing something you should join in on.
Our reading selection this month was the 6 novels of Bukowski. We shall be meeting
at 7 pm Wednesday the 21st of July at the Ha Ra to discuss the finer points of Post Office, Factotum, Ham on Rye, Women, Hollywood, and Pulp.

We have been called all the cliches. A reading club with a drinking problem. A drinking club with a reading problem. The usual. At the very least we can be loud, opinionated and inebriated.

Therefore we put the call out to you Charles Bukowski Memorial Drinking Club to come out and memorialize with us. You will be able to figure out who we are by the fact that we will probably be the only folks at the Ha Ra waving books around and quoting passages through a bullhorn.
